Colleague feedback has earned the NRL Group formal acknowledgement as a top employer in consulting and professional services for the second time, following their inclusion on a nationally recognised list revealed by Great Place To Work® UK.
The 2026 UK’s Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services ™ list places the NRL Group among the list of organisations in the small and medium sized organisations category.
To perform the in-depth analysis needed to determine the businesses who make the list each year, Great Place To Work® UK review anonymous feedback collected from employees working in the industry about their workplace experience. Organisations included on the list cover a diverse range of knowledge intensive roles, from legal services to management consultancy, engineering, marketing and advertising, telecoms, real estate, recruitment, and travel management to name a few.
The survey asked people to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels. In the NRL Group’s responses, 95% agreed it was a great place to work, and the businesses achieved 92% on average across all statements asked.
2026 was the second year the NRL Group surveyed colleagues through the engagement programme, having achieved the same accolade in 2024 thanks to overwhelming positive responses when previously surveyed. As NRL Group’s CEO David Redmayne explains.
“The first time we asked colleagues to get involved with the survey, it was great to see us earn unexpected recognition as a result of their candid responses. Being awarded a position on the UK’s Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services™ for the second time in 2026, is strong testament to our colleagues and senior leadership and the role they play in shaping our business, whilst providing a consistent employee experience.
We gain valuable insight and honest feedback through the Great Place To Work® survey, which in itself is worthy of the investment. Being able to demonstrate to people considering joining the NRL Group that we’re one of the top employers in our field as a result, is even more rewarding.”
Overseeing the publication of the list, Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work® UK, said:
“The consulting and professional services sector continues to evolve rapidly, with organisations adapting to new technologies and changing client demands. In this environment, the very best workplaces recognise that supporting their people through periods of change is essential. Feedback from employees highlights the importance of transparent leadership, open communication, and involving people in decisions that affect them. These are the qualities that help employees feel valued, informed, and able to do their best work. Congratulations to the NRL Group on achieving UK’s Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services™ recognition and for fostering a workplace culture that puts its people first.”
