The NRL Group acquires CD Group

Engineering recruitment and contracting specialist the NRL Group have announced the successful acquisition of CD Group.

The Newcastle based business, which has traded as Contract Design (Northern) Limited for over three decades, is comprised of several business units providing services to prestigious industry clients including temporary and permanent recruitment, design engineering and drafting, and translation services. Brands include Contract Design (Northern) and Eldon Bureau (now known as NRL Language Solutions).

The acquisition by the NRL Group aligns with their continued strategic growth plan, with both businesses operating in similar industry sectors, delivering complementary services. Combined, the two organisations will share a projected annual turnover of circa £185m.
