NRL appoints Jack Gannon as Heysham Branch Director

NRL, a leading specialist in engineering recruitment and workforce solutions, is delighted to announce Jack Gannon’s promotion to the role of Director. Having helped shape and grow the Heysham recruitment branch over nine years, Jack’s appointment is a testament to his experience and dedication.

Since starting within the Heysham team nearly a decade ago, Jack progressed into various management roles — first with Intec, a local business acquired by NRL towards the end of 2018, and then within the rebranded NRL branch, as former Intec colleagues benefited from the wider support of the NRL Group.

Jack has been instrumental in increasing service capability within the branch, which now includes UK and international services, and strengthening their connections with the local community. Keen to ensure they’re giving back, the team regularly undertake charity initiatives.

Under Jack’s direction, the Heysham team has also celebrated team expansion – including the continued growth of their strategic purchasing service, where they support clients to order a range of supplies to support projects, from high-viz and contractor accommodation, to plant machinery and specialist parts. Whether new recruits are joining the recruitment or purchasing teams, Jack shares the NRL Group’s ethos to look for opportunities for people without direct experience to build rewarding careers. Opting to look for transferable skills and complementary experience, and then providing extensive training and mentoring to help them excel in their roles.
